Even when we die, we leave a scar on our beautiful planet. Our current end of life processes result in large scale CO2 emission, material depletion, and soil pollution. We see ourselves as waste but when we look at you, we see beautiful bags of compost! The forest is nature's graveyard. Shouldn't it be ours as well?

After extensive research in the forest, we found the answer in mycelium: the underground root network of mushrooms and nature's most powerful recycler. They are the driving force in the earth’s end-of-life cycle due to its ability to transform organic matter and toxins into new life. From this material, we designed the Loop Living Cocoon™: the world's first mushroom coffin that actively enriches nature.

In our growing facility in Delft, The Netherlands, we grow our 100% biodegradable products, from local mushroom species and upcycled hemp fibers in only 7 days. Our products enable us to enrich life after death and to leave the world better behind for future generations. After burying the Cocoon™, it biodegrades in just 45 days - under the ideal conditions.

???? 100% Nature: Grown from local mushrooms and upcycled hemp fibres.
???? Biodegradable: Becomes one with nature in 45 days.
✨Enriching: Increases soil biodiversity and feeds the earth.
???? Everlasting: New ways of being remembered.

The Cocoon™ is certified for traditional burial, natural burial and cremation.

We’ve already helped over 3,500 families create a positive final footprint for their loved ones and recently expanded into new markets, including the United States, Canada and Germany. With this innovation, we aim to make sustainable farewells accessible to all while enriching nature worldwide. We believe our final footprint can be a force for good, leaving the world a better place for future generations.

Are you ready for life after death? Let's close the Loop.
