Showflat Design Proposal for Longcheng No.1 Residence

This project goes beyond a conventional high-end residential interior, presenting a systematic exploration of contemporary living, spatial order, and material aesthetics. Rooted in a modern design language, it redefines the relationship between people and space through restraint, precision, and clarity.

The design emphasizes a refined balance between openness and privacy. Public areas—including the living room, dining space, open study, and kitchen—are seamlessly connected to form a continuous, fluid environment that supports social interaction and daily living. In contrast, private zones such as bedrooms and bathrooms are organized into a calm and independent sequence, ensuring spatial clarity and comfort.

Rather than pursuing superficial luxury, the project focuses on a higher level of aesthetic expression defined by order and restraint. Clean surfaces, low-saturation tones, and generous spatial proportions are combined with a curated palette of stone, wood, glass, and metal to create a calm, sophisticated atmosphere. The living room, anchored by large-scale natural stone and a linear fireplace, establishes a strong visual and emotional focal point.

Material strategy plays a key role in shaping the overall identity. Natural textures and warm wood finishes provide continuity and depth, while glass and metal elements introduce lightness and precision. More importantly, materials are integrated with spatial function and lighting, transforming them from decorative elements into essential components of the living system.
