The project embraces the “four seasons” as a narrative theme, interpreting everyday life as an experience unfolding with time. Its spatial sequence rises vertically, shifting from openness to intimacy, from dynamism to serenity. Each level accommodates a different state of living.
Prelude · The Awakening of Everyday Life
The ground floor slows the pace from the moment of entry. Dark stone sets the tone, while timber veneers soften the ambience. The double-height living room draws in daylight, where a light-toned sofa, darker chairs, and a black coffee table establish a quiet visual interplay. The kitchen and dining area unfold along a continuous flow, anchored by a large island—its solid volume set in gentle contrast to the lightweight glass chandelier above.
Extended Day · Life Unfolding Upward
The second floor feels like the longest stretch of a day. A circular recessed ceiling shapes the family lounge with a sense of enclosure, while the study introduces rhythm through its linear desk and faceted geometry. The girl’s room feels relaxed and fluid, formed by continuous curves and a soft palette; the boy’s room, in contrast, is more composed, with deeper tones and crisp lines.
Quietness · Drawn Inward
The top level draws inward, forming a more contemplative mode of living. The master suite stretches horizontally, embracing mountains and greenery through generous windows. A compact sofa at the foot of the bed and a window-side lounge chair create moments of pause. In the walk-in closet, mirrored surfaces pair with timber paneling, while herringbone flooring subtly leads the circulation deeper inside.
Sanctuary · A More Private Rhythm
The basement shifts the home into a more private rhythm. Dark stone extends across the floor, while walls and ceiling articulate a clear structural order. A fireplace anchors the living and reception area, with a round table gathering interaction. Entertainment spaces—billiards, board games, spa, and wine tasting—are integrated into a continuous sequence, remaining visually connected. On the mezzanine, a luminous sculptural installation guides the shift in spatial rhythm. In the private gallery, metal frameworks pair with transparent glass, creating a display that feels both restrained and articulated.
