Inspired by the geometric abstraction of Dutch artist Piet Mondrian, the design incorporates his distinctive visual language into a contemporary, American-inspired interior. Horizontal and vertical lines, together with carefully proportioned blocks of color, establish a clear spatial order. A crisp layout, layered ceilings, and open circulation create a home that balances artistic expression with everyday livability.
Geometric order takes the place of conventional partitions. Color blocking, furniture placement, and circulation patterns subtly define individual zones while preserving visual openness and fluidity. The sculpted, multi-layered ceiling incorporates linear lighting and geometric compositions to lend depth and dimension to the interior. Furniture and artworks become integral elements of the spatial composition, allowing art and everyday life to coexist naturally.
Wood flooring extends throughout the communal areas and bedrooms, bringing warmth and comfort to the home. Japan-made S-54 high-performance, non-toxic paint is applied to the walls and primary elevations, supporting health, safety, and environmental responsibility. Modular cabinetry combines storage and display functions while maintaining a clean, cohesive aesthetic. Stone and metal elements enrich the bathrooms and selected feature surfaces with refinement and depth. Rugs and soft furnishings define the heart of the living area, providing visual focus and a welcoming sense of warmth.
