I am an award-winning Textile and Brand Designer with over 20 years of experience in fashion, print development, trend forecasting, and creative direction. After earning my BFA in Textile Design from the Fashion Institute of Technology, I built my career with brands including Calvin Klein and the Ralph Lauren and Oscar de la Renta divisions of Carole Hochman before founding Sahra Design Studio. My work has been recognized with a London Design Awards Gold Award for REBIRTH – The Living Leather Jacket, Second Place for Digital Fashion Portfolio from Dallas Fashion Group International, a Yellowbrick x The New School scholarship, selection for the Gaia 2026 International Exhibition and HMVC Gallery New York's Within One Color exhibition, and admission into the LVMH Certificate Program in Creation & Branding, Retail & Client Experience.

My design process begins with research, storytelling, and innovation. I explore cultural influences, emerging trends, sustainability challenges, and material possibilities, transforming these insights into original textile prints, fashion concepts, and creative experiences. As an emerging fashion entrepreneur, I am focused on growing a purpose-driven brand that contributes to a more sustainable future for the industry. Through thoughtful design, material innovation, and continuous learning, I hope to create products that inspire connection, reduce environmental impact, and demonstrate how fashion can be both beautiful and responsible.
