Nestled within a dynamic urban landscape, this project reimagines the concept of apartment living through innovative green building strategies, ultimately transforming residential spaces into a vertically integrated “urban green island.” Designed thoughtfully in a four-unit block arrangement, each dwelling enjoys an abundance of natural light and ventilation from three sides, significantly enhancing the quality of life for its residents while simultaneously reducing energy dependence from an environmental perspective.

Moreover, the façade boasts a strikingly layered exterior, characterized by the staggered stacking of cantilevered balconies, deep-set windows, and sunshade louvers. This careful combination not only serves functional purposes but also elevates the visual appeal of the structure. As one’s gaze ascends from the ground floor to the lush rooftop garden, it becomes evident that greenery plays a vital role in this design, seamlessly integrating natural elements into the architectural fabric. This thoughtful integration not only enriches the façade but also embodies the urban vision of historic district renewal and environmental harmony, creating a vibrant and sustainable living environment.

The facade design masterfully harnesses the interplay of light and shadow, intricately inviting the outside into the interior and blurring the distinctions between the two realms. Emphasizing the concept of “serene order,” the public spaces are thoughtfully crafted, utilizing proportion and negative space to create a harmonious experience. Wooden elements and carefully framed views connect different zones, fostering a sense of fluidity and extension within a calm, textured environment. As visitors step into the lobby, they will be greeted by an enchanting introduction of floating light boxes intertwined with elegant latticework. These elements, guided along axial lines, establish a layered and inviting atmosphere that sets the tone for the journey ahead. Moving into the tea room, one encounters a raised wooden floor paired with a striking suspended grid ceiling, while expansive transparent glass enhances the sensation of boundlessness, creating an airy and welcoming space.
