The design originates from a piece of marble with striking natural veining. Its mineral patterns—resembling flowers, leaves, snow, and flame—unfold freely, forming the conceptual core of the project. Rather than imposing a fixed narrative, the designer establishes a fresh foundation through a grey-white palette, gradually shaping spatial layers through the expressive qualities of stone and mineral textures.
The most distinctive feature is the translucent marble wall at the entrance. When unlit, a subtle green tone emerges from within the stone, creating a sense of distance. When illuminated, the veining expands like snowflakes in light, as if time frozen within the material is reawakened. This dramatic yet refined transformation turns the act of entering and leaving into a ritual experience.
The living room TV wall introduces a different material language, using white stone with gold veining to bring delicate visual highlights into the light-toned environment. Light moves across its surface, creating a calm yet profound spatial atmosphere. These contrasting stone expressions form a dual narrative within the space.
Additionally, a curved cabinet is placed between the living and dining areas, softening the linear circulation while integrating storage into its form. The curvature allows the eye to move fluidly, maintaining spatial definition within an open-plan layout.
