Built on the assessment of physical health and athletic potential among Chinese children and teenagers, the project reimagines sportswear retail experience. Supported by the pioneering “Lingloong Eye” physical fitness evaluation system, the store integrates physical assessment, training guidance, and gear matching into a cohesive experience. This data-driven approach helps parents make informed decisions, while extending sports technology beyond products into a broader ecosystem of scenarios, services, and long-term engagement.
The spatial narrative unfolds around the concept of a “growth loop.” The entrance sets the tone with a distinctive glowing canopy and digital interface, creating the sense of entering a laboratory. In the central zone, the “Lingloong Capsule” becomes a focal point that encourages interaction and motivates participation. A circular ceiling track paired with track-inspired floor graphics organizes the experiential journey into a clear sequence: physical assessment, data interpretation, gamified challenge, gear matching, and re-testing. As children engage in gamified activities, performance data is generated naturally. Meanwhile, parents gain intuitive insight into their children’s physical development needs and product recommendations through clear, visualized interfaces.
The design carefully balances child-friendly warmth with technological credibility. Warm white tones and rounded forms soften the environment, while linear lighting and translucent interfaces enhance visual clarity and reinforce a technological atmosphere. Open activity areas encourage children to move freely, and the thoughtfully arranged seating forms a circular area for parents to relax while keeping their children in sight. The display system is integrated with behavioral flow, aligning product functions precisely with the physical and athletic needs revealed through the assessment process.
Operationally, the store adopts modular stations, interchangeable interfaces, and demountable structures to adapt to different store configurations and long-term reassessment programs. This approach supports sustainable operation and cost-efficient updates. The store thus becomes a growth-oriented service hub, where children’s athletic abilities can be measured, recorded, and continuously refined—guiding them toward healthier and more confident active lifestyles.
