Ember Crown

The design takes the residents’ living habits and personal expression as its core starting point, conducting in-depth explorations into spatial structure and aesthetic narrative. From the initial stage, the scheme breaks away from conventional layouts and innovatively plans a dual-master-bedroom space tailored to the residents’ needs, fundamentally reshaping the living flow and private relations, which embodies the original design philosophy of "human-oriented scale".
The overall space is based on an Italian light luxury style, subtly blending understated luxury with a comfortable living experience. Within the rigorous framework of Italian aesthetics, the designer incorporates contemporary minimalist details. Through rhythmic line compositions, precisely controlled layers of light and shadow, and highly textural three-dimensional material dialogues, a spiritual realm with profound and artistic ambiance is created.
Color and material serve as the key carriers for conveying personality and taste in this project. To cater to the male homeowner’s preference for a dark aesthetic, the main color palette adopts deep brown and jet-black tones, laying a calm and restrained foundation for the space, with refined metallic elements as local accents to add the finishing touch. The metal not only appears in fluid and soft forms, breaking the heaviness of the dark color scheme, but also inadvertently defines the fashion-forward and sophisticated temperament of the space. Meanwhile, the integration of natural materials—whether warm wood veneers, rugged yet delicate natural stones, or soft textiles—establishes a delicate balance between coolness and warmth, modernity and nature, ultimately interpreting a new urban residential aesthetic that is both comfortable and highly textural.
This project is not merely the construction of a physical space, but a concrete expression of the residents’ spiritual pursuits. Through the integration of rational planning and artistic expression, it radiates vitality amid dark tones and reveals richness in simplicity. It ultimately achieves a high unity of personal assertion, artistic taste and practicality of life, forging a unique dwelling that truly "reflects the personality of its inhabitants".
