Built around the concept of "Showa American Diner Meets Taiwanese Breakfast Culture," this project does not seek to replicate the traditional Taiwanese breakfast shop. Instead, it distills the shared values of both cultures—openness, warmth, efficiency, and a strong sense of community—into a contemporary spatial experience. Drawing inspiration from the bold color palette, retro materials, and iconic visual language of Showa-era American diners, the design is combined with a clean, modern architectural approach to create a space that balances nostalgic charm with contemporary aesthetics while establishing a distinctive and memorable brand identity. Through this concept, the project reimagines Taiwan's breakfast culture, transforming familiar daily rituals into a contemporary design experience and presenting Taiwan's everyday lifestyle to an international audience as an aesthetic that is ordinary yet distinctive, nostalgic yet full of vitality.
