Compact Brilliance

Compact Brilliance transforms a 66 ㎡ apartment into a sophisticated family home for two adults and one child. Designed as the designer couple's own home, the project serves as a living laboratory for testing spatial strategies, materials, and smart-home technologies.

Departing from conventional light-toned interiors, the design embraces a darker palette enriched by soft curves, handcrafted finishes, and layered lighting. The layout was reconfigured to enlarge the public area, allowing family interaction, remote work, and daily activities to coexist seamlessly.

By integrating advanced smart-home systems typically found in larger residences and concealing equipment within the design, the project demonstrates how compact living can achieve both elegance and high performance. Sustainable materials, energy-efficient systems, and thoughtful planning further support a comfortable and responsible lifestyle.
