CENTRAL THRONE

The project is rooted in the millennia-old heritage of Lingnan culture, drawing inspiration from nine forms of intangible craftsmanship, including stone seal carving, Canton embroidery, and ceramics. By merging traditional artistry with a modern and understated aesthetic, it creates a luxury urban residence that expresses both cultural continuity and contemporary refinement.
Located along Foshan’s central axis, the design responds to the lifestyle logic of today’s high-end living. Through an artistic language aligned with contemporary international luxury residences, it redefines spatial order and the residential experience.
Guided by the concept of “Hidden Luxury in an Oriental Spirit,” the project addresses the modern urban desire for beauty, order, and emotional belonging. Instead of directly applying traditional symbols, it reinterprets the subtlety, serenity, and layered elegance of Eastern living culture in a restrained contemporary way.
A palette of soft ivory, warm gray, light wood, and dark timber is enriched by natural stone, wood veneer, metal, textiles, and curated artworks, creating an atmosphere that is warm, tranquil, and finely detailed. The open-plan living and dining area establishes a fluid circulation path, while the fireplace feature wall acts as both a visual focal point and an emotional center for family interaction. Curved ceilings and expansive stone surfaces soften boundaries and enhance the sense of openness and quiet ceremony.
The study offers a calm setting for reading and reflection. In the bedroom, a screen-like headboard backdrop, stone framing, and a walk-in wardrobe create a private yet refined retreat. Eastern-inspired art and soft materials add cultural depth and lasting elegance.
Ultimately, the project presents a high-quality living experience that combines the openness of modern urban life with the restrained warmth of Eastern aesthetics, resulting in an elegant, composed, and memorable home.
