It aims to transcend the spatial definition of traditional luxury residences, elevating the physical height of the penthouse into a poetic dwelling where the spirit resonates with nature.
The greatest highlight of the design lies in the ultimate respect and incorporation of spatial aura and natural scenery. Retaining the double-height living room structure of the penthouse is not merely for the sake of scale, but to cultivate a sense of refreshing openness and ritual. Combined with large expanses of transparent floor-to-ceiling windows, the vast mist-shrouded waters of Luhu Lake and the magnificent changes of the skyline are transformed into a dynamic indoor painting, realizing the artistic conception of “the scenery is a painting, and the residence is part of the scenery”. The daily drift of light and shadow, and the seasonal shifts of the lake’s hues, serve as the space’s most luxurious and perpetual decorations, immersing residents’ body and mind in the boundless expanse of heaven and earth at all times.
In terms of material application, the team abandons tacky ostentation and turns to rare natural stones with unique narratives and natural soul, using them as the artistic highlights and emotional bonds of the space. The raw travertine selected for the living room TV wall, with its unrefined texture and gentle warmth, establishes a calm, restrained and back-to-basics tone for the space, speaking of the precipitation and power of time. The delicate and precious sakura pink luxury stone on the western kitchen island, like sunset glow falling from the clouds, injects a touch of romantic fantasy and warmth into the rational functional space, becoming the visual focus and emotional hub for family gatherings. The North African red luxury stone chosen for the master bedroom backdrop, with its rich and profound color, endows the private space with a passionate yet reassuring sense of enclosure, like the pulse deep within the earth, demonstrating the owner’s extraordinary taste and inner strength.
